CrossFit constantly pushes me to be better than I was the day before. The only person you are up against is you. I think there's a power in regularly forcing yourself into daily physical discomfort. It makes the hardest part of your day something you can control, that way the things out of your control become much less stressful and daunting. CrossFit has been an absolute game changer for me not only physically but mentally as well with my performance in the fire department and everyday life.

Having accountability to myself, my family, and the great group of people at NOVA has had a positive impact on my health today and I can see it continuing in the future. My kids are young now but I am really looking forward to traveling and playing golf with them for as long as I can.
